Laura Lee Washburn
Laura Lee Washburn is the director of creative writing at Pittsburg State University, in Kansas. She is the author of This Good Warm Place (March Street) and Watching the Contortionists (Palanquin Chapbook Prize). Her poetry has appeared in Cavalier Literary Couture, Carolina Quarterly, and 9th Letter, among others. She is a cofounder and copresident of the board of Southeast Kansas Women Helping Women. She is married to the writer Roland Sodowsky.
