Jacquelyn Nix
Jacquelyn Nix is a University of Dallas alumni, a wife and mother of four, and an artist living in South Texas. Her primary medium has historically been charcoal and pencil sketch, which flourished during a semester in Rome as a way to memorialize the experience. She recently taught herself and fell in love with Watercolor as a new outlet of artistic expression. About painting she says, "Watercoloring reveals boundaries. The invisible is made visible, often by what is left undone for a time. Inside of that time, the painting is taking shape as an artifact of a dream that will become tangible."
