Hattie Jean Hayes (she/her) is a writer and comedian from Missouri, who lives in New York City. Her first chapbook, Poems [For, About, Because] My Friends, was published in 2023. She is the creator of I Was Never Cast in Annie, a solo parody musical, and co-creator of Reporter Quarterly, a documentary zine launching in fall of 2024.
